If some of you may recall, I purchased these three Paula's Choice products almost a month ago (Here's the link) (..whoops, my review is long overdue!) Anyways, just a quick review. I ordered the Moisture Boost One Step Face Cleanser, Skin Recovery Toner, and Exfoliating 1% BHA Gel. These products were suggested for my dry/combination skin. If you go on their website and aren't sure what you're looking for they have questions you could answer and it'll direct you to all the possible products you may want to try. If you don't want to commit to full size bottles, you could order samples.
(Took picture in order of usage)
(What each product looks like. The toner (in the middle) is like water so it slipped off my arm. Haha)
The first step is to use the cleanser. It says that you could use this to remove your makeup but I've never tried that. Usually I'll just use my makeup remover wipes first. As you can see it is a white lotion like texture. Before applying this to my face, I pat my face with lukewarm water to open up my pores. It cleans my skin and I love how it is safe to use around my eyes. It has a light scent to it, but goes away soon after you wash it off your face.
Once you pat your skin dry, the second step is the toner. For this I apply the clear liquid onto a cotton pad and do a quick wipe around my face. It helps to pick up any dirt that the cleanser left (but it isn't much dirt). There is no odor to this. Since using this I noticed that my skin is not as dry as it use to be and my pores have gotten smaller and blackheads are slowly going away, which was my main concern.
The last step (well there's actually other products/steps you could do but this is as far as I go) is to exfoliate. Once the toner is on your face, you add the exfoliate gel on. There is a scent to this..but I'm not sure how to explain it. It is nothing strong though and goes away quick. Once you first apply this gel to your face, it will feel sticky/wet but it disappears soon after application, which I love!
I follow these steps every morning after I wake up and every night before I go to bed. For the first two weeks of using this product, I did have a few pimples here and there but I'm pretty sure it was just because my face was just getting use to these products. Now that they had some time to get acquainted, I don't have any more pimples and my skin feels more silky smooth, less dry, and smaller pores! Now who wouldn't love that, right?
I hope this review helped you! If you have any further questions, just let me know.
Have you ever tried any Paula's Choice products? If so how did/do you like them?
Thanks for reading,
Dinah

Hey sis! Great review. How long do you think someone should use/try a product before they should give up on it (if they don't notice results)?
