Back in March, my husband bought me my first ever Gucci bag (Click for post here). I used to buy a lot of coach/juicy purses, but I guess my taste got more expensive. After he bought my purse, I joked about getting myself a matching wallet, but he did not budge. He already could not believe he spent almost $1,000 on a purse and he did not want to add $400 on top of that for a wallet to go with it.
Today my family and I returned to our apartment in SD and I had a small package from Gucci waiting for me. It was a book of their upcoming winter collection. Even my husband was impressed with the presentation and asked if I finally wanted to get my matching wallet.
Even though I will not buy anything from this collection, I am definitely keeping the book. It is too beautiful to throw away.
I love the little box and bag.
Aren't they cute together?! Hubby knows I love it when my things match so he bought the wallet as a early two year anniversary gift since he will be out at sea again on our actual anniversary date. Thanks again, my love!

Cute! The only Gucci I own is my sunglasses, but all my bags are LV lol. The brothers have fine taste, letting us buy expensive bags. =)

When I first was reading I thought dangg gucci really puts a lot of work into making sure you get their collection book putting it in a box and everything I wonder why LV just sends it to you like a magazine...LMAO then I realized the wallet was in the box *slow moment* It's an adorable wallet! Congratulations! Your hubby's a smart cookie :) I don't own anything Gucci. I've just admired other peoples..I'm more of an LV person so I splurge on LV instead of Gucci xD but I love their stuff still

wow, now thats what I call a generous pressie! Both the bag and wallet are absolutely gorgeous - I like that they're still modern and pretty even though they're ridiculously expensive designer items :) Unfortunately I dont own a single Gucci item; not least of all cos I'm a bit clumsy and would probably lose or damage it in now time ♥

I have the black embossed Gucci wallet and one of the old ones with the antique heart, but I still can't bring myself to spend much for designer purses and handbags. All of mine tend to get thrown around and ripped. What a sweet gift!
