Today I received my Sigma Miss Taylor Kabuki brush (also known as Hollywood Glamour Flat Top Retractable Brush - Purple) in the mail. I was very excited to receive it especially being my FIRST ever Kabuki brush. Although I cannot compare it to other Kabuki brushes, I must say that I was very impressed. It works well for applying your face products (powder, blush, bronzer, etc) and blends your makeup very well with your skin.
Although my favorite color is pink, I think the purple color is really cute. I especially love that it is retractable so it is easier to store in my makeup bag. The brush is dense and soft and feels great against my skin. If you would like to purchase this, it is $25 on Sigma Beauty.
*Also, I will host another giveaway for this brush once my Apothica giveaway is over so be on the lookout for that.
Do you own this brush? How do you like it? Do you think it is better than other kabuki brushes out there?
Thanks for reading,
Dinah

I love the look of this brush (my fave color is even purple) but I'm always afraid to use it as I've got very dry skin and I am afraid it will knock loose little dry pieces of skin if you know what I mean, and those will show even more because of my foundation. :-/ so I think it's a no no for me :(
It's really pretty! I love the purple colour :)
I haven't tried this yet and I'm looking forward to own one:) Sigma brushes is simply amazing!
This looks so cute! I just got my F80 brush. It's soooo soft :)
What's funny is I forgot to apply to receive this. It looks cute and it's awesome that it's retractable--I really wish they made it in pink, yes? :)
Hope you're having a great time with Chris, sis!
I have this one too! ^^ I just want to stroke it over and over cause it's that soft (:
i really wanted to have that Ms. Taylor Kabuki of Sigma! will wait for your giveaway to try my luck!

Aww. So you've never tried a kabuki brush then?
Isn't it?! =D I'm not a big purple fan but I do love the color
Yes, this brush is a must. =) I never thought I'd love other brushes aside from MAC
o0o, lucky! I forgot to get the F80. >.< Lol.
Haha I agree. Pink would've been bomb! It's ok..I forgot to apply for the F80. >.< Lol!
And thanks so much. It's really nice finally having him home. I hate that he'll have to go back out again soon... =(
Lol! I do that too.
Yes! I think I'll be hosting a giveaway for this before the end of this month.
I like Sigma brushes coz they're so soft!! :)
I have it, love it! Hard to clean though :)
:-/ Nope I'm afraid not, the biggest brush I've used is a blush brush and only lightly.
And an Inglot stippling brush for highlights and bronzers but you only use those very lightly so those don't bother me. For foundation I use a beautyblender :)
I don't own this brush, but I've been looking into Kabukis. Also stippling brushes, especially Sigma's f50 and f80. Any suggestions?
They definitely are! =D
Yeah it is. =( But it's still great. Hehe.
Hmm...I'm not too sure but my sister-in-law, JC (also known as makeup diary) did a review on the F80. She seems to love it. Here's the link to her post (http://www.makeupdiary.org/2011/06/thank-you-sigma-and-new-camera.html)
I don't have kabuki brush n I know I need one!
