Tomorrow is finally Halloween! Are you all excited? I wish it was not on a Monday though. But oh wells. What will you all be for Halloween this year? I doubt I will dress up, but I already have my daughter's costume ready, which I will share with all of you in a bit. First, I wanted to share some past costumes that my daughter and myself wore.
This was a long time ago when I was still an undergraduate student. I did not feel like going all out so I did something simple and bought cat ears, a collar, and tail. I bought this at Pricebusters.
About two years ago, I wanted to dress up as a flapper. Sexy, eh? Haha. I absolutely loved the fringe dress because it looked so fun when I danced in it. For this costume, I got it at Hot Topic.
For my daughter, my husband called her his princess so I thought it would be appropriate to buy her a princess costume. On the costume is says "I don't have my prince yet.. but for now I have my Daddy." I believe she was just about a week old in this picture
This year my daughter will be a condiment. It is actually perfect especially since we will be celebrating in Hawaii and it is a very popular condiment here. I am not sure if all of you are familiar with it but she will be an Aloha Soy Sauce. I am very proud of this costume just because I sewed everything on. My first DIY costume.
If you love making costumes, you can look into information on costume design classes as part of degree programs from accredited online schools at Guide to Online Schools
I hope you all have a great Halloween!
