My Dior New Lock Handbag is probably my most prized purse in my collection. I am absolutely and completely in love with it. So you could imagine my shock when I noticed that my a bit of my nail polish that I was currently wearing managed to stain the bag! I have no idea how that happened (it doesn’t help that I was out clubbing the night before and had a few drinks) especially since I was wearing that nail polish for a few days now.
My poor baby.
At the time, I lived about 40 minutes away from the Dior store, so instead I used the trusted “Google” to search for a solution. How do you get rid of nail polish? Nail polish remover, of course! I was a bit nervous however, using nail polish remover though in case it ruined the leather. But I did it anyways. I was desperate.
Tools I used: Q-tip, Non-Acetone Nail Polish Remover, and Baby Wipes.
Voila! The nail polish is gone. I am so happy. Now you know if this ever happens to you, it should be perfectly safe to use non-acetone nail polish remover. If you have acetone nail polish, I am not too sure how that will work out since it is much stronger. I actually ruined our coffee table using acetone nail polish remover on my nails.. Happy removing!
