The only time I buy myself new hairbrushes is if my current hairbrush broke or if I lose it. When it comes to hairbrushes, I tend to go to my local drugstore and see what they have and compare prices/sales.
I have thick and wavy hair. After washing it, my hair will start to frizz as I hair dry it. So Iw anted to find a brush that supposed helps with frizzes.
Goody is usually my go-to drugstore brand when it comes to buying myself new hair products. I promise to buy my next hairbrush from Sally’s Beauty since I have heard they have great brushes.
I purchased the Goody Gelous Grip Frizz-Free Styling Brush for $6.74 at my local Walmart.
I am always skeptical with hair products that says it will help with frizz. After utilizing this brush, I noticed that it did control my frizz while styling. It gave my hair more life leaving it shiny looking. As you can imagine, the gel grip feels squishy, but I like it. The bristles are also ion-infused which helps control the frizz.
I am glad I gave this hair brush a try. It will probably be a while until I purchase a new brush. When I do, I will try to splurge a little more than on a drugstore brand.
What is your favorite hair brush?
