This is my first time ever trying Julep Nail Polishes. Kendra and Zelda were included in my February Julep box (See post here).
As stated on Julep:
“Julep Nail Color is “4-free” and does not contain formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, or DBP. Our professional chip-resistant formulation is fast drying and highly pigmented. Julep nail color is a fun way to make the season’s latest shades accessible to everyone. And because we’ve tested our trend-setting toxin-free colors and products in over 100,000 manicures and pedicures in our parlors, we have a good idea of what works and what our clients love.”
Kendra (8 ml / 27 fl oz $14.00)
Kendra is a Army green with a sheer/frost/pearl finish. I have never been a bit fan of green, but I really enjoyed this shade.
You may not be able to really see it, but it has a beautiful gold and green shimmer. I find this a nice color to wear in the fall and winter season. For full coverage, all you need is two coats.
Zelda (8 ml / 27 fl oz $14.00)
Zelda is a said to be a pink champagne shade with a metallic/chrome finish. Pink nail polishes are my favorite so I happily welcomed this to my collection.
However, when you look at my swatches it appears more gold than pink. Regardless, I liked the sparkly-ness of it. My daughter also loves it. Like Zelda, with just two coats you’ll be good.
Both nail polishes are beautiful. I am very happy that I received these in my first Julep boxes. It makes me want to try more of their nail polishes.
