I remember when washing my makeup brushes was fun and quick.. But now it has become a long tiresome chore since my collection has grown. When it comes to deep cleaning my brushes, I usually try to do that twice a month if I’m not lazy.
Washing about 30 brushes takes it toll on my hands so when I heard about the Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Glove ($35.00) I just had to try it. The price tag did seem a bit high but then again I spend just as much on a brush so I want to make sure my brushes are taken care of. Plus I managed to get my glove during their Cyber Monday 20% off sale and also had a $20 gift certificate so I just spent $14.20 total including shipping.
My cute pink glove! Sigma Beauty also offers this in four different shades (Black, Aqua, Pink and Purple).
The Sigma Beauty Sigma Spa Brush Cleaning Glove was specially designed as a quick, easy and effective method to deep clean your makeup brush collection. The revolutionary device offers a variety of necessary textures and surfaces for removing all makeup from brushes while using only a small amount of cleaning solution . Before
After
As you can see in the “After” pictures, the shaping section didn’t work out well with my face brushes.
Aside from the huge glove size, and shaping texture, this was a well worth investment for me especially since my brush collection’s value is about a $300+. Also, this glove has cut down my cleaning time and the different textures has made my babies fully clean unlike my old method of just using my good old bare hands. Now I can rest assured that my brushes are not only clean but are taken care of better and should be able to last me for more years to come.
