Well these past two weeks went by pretty quick. I am happy to report that my 14 day TEAtox is complete.
As I mentioned last week I noticed that the teas made me feel very energized throughout the day, which is helpful for this usually exhausted working mother of two. I am still trying to work off my baby weight so it was awesome to see and feel less bloated. I also managed to lose three pounds. I know that may not seem as much but its better than nothing, right? Also, I’m sure I could have lost more of I had a much healthier diet.
With my tea, I drank a cup three times a day for 14 days. I tried to drink my cup of teas at 7:00am, noon, and 5:00pm or at least 30 minutes before my meals. However there were times that I did drink my tea 30 minutes after my meals if I had a hectic schedule that day. But having to drink my tea before definitely helped me avoid eating junk food, killed some cravings and was filling that I ate a smaller portion size compared to how much I usually eat without the tea.
It is suggested to make your tea with boiling water, but I always burn my tongue so instead I microwaved my water instead. It worked out too since I have a microwave there.
I enjoyed this TEAtox and look forward to doing more of it in the near future.
