As many of you may know, I have been struggling with my weight ever since having my second child almost three years ago. With my daughter, I lost my pregnancy weight pretty quick and assumed it’d be the same the second time around. Well, I was wrong! I miss my old body and my old clothes.
I hope to lose about 20 lbs by September especially because I am the Matron of Honor at my best friend’s wedding. I planned to start sooner but I kept indulging in my favorite fast foods and sweets. I kept making excuses saying I have time to lose the weight. Well, I need to get serious now!
I have done Insanity before but now with my two kiddos, it is hard to get a good workout in at home. So I decided to give Focus T25 a try. I love the fact that it’s just 25 min workouts. They go by quick! On every Friday (or fifth day) each week, however, we do two workouts and rest on the weekends. Instead, I decided to split Fridays up so I just do one workout and another on Saturdays while I rest on Sundays.
I have only done the first week. I am out of shape. Before this, I didn’t workout for several weeks. I just got lazy. It’s tough forcing yourself to workout at home. I rather take a nap then go out to our garage to workout. But now that I have this schedule to keep up with, it keeps me motivated. I like that Focus T25 has a modifer. I try to do the high impact movements but when I start to feel out of breath I switch down to the low impact movements, which still gives you a good sweat session.
Alright… I dread posting this picture but to keep me accountable here it is. I really hope to slim my tummy and arms back down. Wish me luck! I’ll post weekly updates while on Focus T25.
