As for me, I rarely wear these types of lip products so I had to get use to applying it perfectly.  For application, Sleek MakeUP recommends using a lip brush.  A thin layer provides a satin lipstick-like finish and a thicker layer with a glossy result.

Also, it was very exciting for me to find out that these pout paints could be mixed and matched to create unique shades!  Talk about getting your money’s worth.

Now for the swatches!

Mauve Over is a beautiful vibrant pink-ish purple mauve shade.

Peachy Keen reminds me of a neon peach shade.  Unfortunately, I was not too fond of this color.  So that just means I will need to mix it with the other paints until I am satisfied.

Lava is such a pretty vibrant orange shade.  A shade I will be wearing more often.

Lastly, is Pinkini a hot pink color.  Sooo gorgeous!

Oh, Chanel!  I adore you so.  The Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 is an amazing foundation.  The price tag on this item is steep, but then again we are also paying for the brand name.  For years I have tried the MAC Studio Sculpt foundation, so I was antsy to try something new.

I purchased this from the Macy’s Chanel Counter for $45.00.

You would think for such an expensive bottle of foundation the packaging would be of higher quality instead of plastic, but then again this makes it much lighter and travel friendly.  The sprout works well with this water-based thin consistency.  It dispenses the right amount of product without wasting.

Nowadays I prefer applying my foundation with my fingertips instead of using a brush especially with a thin consistency.  Using my fingers allows the product to blend well into my skin.  One thing I love about this foundation is it gives my skin the right amount of coverage that gives your skin a natural look and does not feel cakey or heavy at all.  Something to keep in mind before using this foundation, always shake the bottle first otherwise you will get oily water instead.

This foundation will definitely be on my list to buy again once I use up this bottle.

Directions: Wet face with warm water.  Massage facial cleanser onto face and neck in circular motion until clean.  Rinse.

This cleanser is unlike any other I have used.  It has such a creamy feel to it which makes me enjoy massaging it onto my face.  I have used this everyday for several weeks and noticed my complexion improve.  It also does a decent job removing makeup.

Facial Moisturizer

• Softens and improves elasticity
• Minimizes fine lines
• Sheer formula absorbs quickly

Directions: After cleansing, massage into face and neck until fully absorbed.

After rinsing my face, naturally I would apply the facial moisturizer to go with it.  It is very gentle so it is perfect for sensitive skin.  I use it both during the day and night.  My only qualm with it is that when I wear it during the day, it has no SPF.

Hand & Body Moisture Lotion

• Hydrating cream for hand and body
• Leaves skin feeling soft, clean and moisturized
• Rich formula with a sheer application
• Glides on and absorbs quickly 
• Protects moisture balance

Directions: Apply as needed to hands and body by massaging until absorbed.

Scented lotion are a rare product I use on myself since my nose is sensitive, so I love that this (as well as the other products) are fragrance-free.

Overall Review: Just like DermOrganic’s hair products, I am very satisfied with their skincare line.  I am glad to have stumbled onto their products especially now while pregnant and aware of items I use on my body.  It gives me a better feeling that what I am using is safe.  I have used each of these products every single day and saw changes on my skin.  My complexion looks better and my skin feel moisturized throughout the day and night.

This is my first Too Faced palette so I cannot really compare it to the others out there.  But overall I am satisfied.    It contains have a nice selection of shimmery pigmented eyeshadows, three suggested makeup looks you could create, a waterproof eyeliner, primer and a huge mirror!  Talk about a travel friendly palette.  All that is missing is a brush, but I don’t mind since I already have tons of makeup brushes.

The only thing I wish they could have included were a few matte eyeshadows instead of only shimmery shades.  Also, be warned with a lot of shimmer means a lot of fallout.
